MCPX Canopies

Postby Ian_S » Wed Feb 15, 2012 10:16 pm

Came accross this tutorial for the making of MCPX canopies also i think they cover the Align 100 canopies as well. I got started flowing this

I have managed to print, stick and fit a couple of canopies just out of paper, next will be on photo quality paper.

This is one of a couple of attempt's but each gets better.

The one in the picture above was done on normal paper, most from what i have read are doing them in photographic paper. Andy fort recommends spraying the card once printed in some kind of lacqure to protect the design and help stiffen it up, i am trying this next week maybe in time for indoor, we will see how it goes.

ahh kk

Yea got loads of photo paper, it makes good cd wallets aswell :- D.

Yea could be an idea using lacure, good thing is if we can find someone with a colour laser printer we could get some really mad designs on and the inks pretty resistive aswell.
